Final

So if I had the time this is what I would have as my final piece...

I world have two of these 4 times the size on the wall with my memories they won't both look like this and my class mates memories and a box that is 200mm/200m/300mm with a lid. it would be simple but there would be a toy soldier climbing out and a carving maybe on the side. The box would be on my set of drawers which is my proud-ish memory of the last three years. there would be a pen and some sticky notes or bits of paper on my drawers for people to write their memories.

what else i would put in the memorial?

Well looking back at what I put behind the door a lot of those thing held great memories for me and my class mates. but not I have been thinking and we all have memories from the last three years and I should have added that somewhere in my FMP. looking back I would have made a small box for the people that came to see my work to write down there memories or even put something that makes them remember a great time into the box. (and they could have come get it back or leave an address  and number for me to drop it off (within 2.5 miles))

what is a memorial?

A memorial is an object which serves as a focus for memory of something, usually a person (who has died) or an event. Popular forms of memorials include landmark objects or art objects such as sculptures, statues or fountains, and even entire parks. so this is what I am looking to do make something to make people remember they time at college and if I thought about it I could have make this FMP really good.

This was my first attempt

This was my first attempt of a design for a memory plaque but it didn't work very well because one of the sides fell off. So I need to go back and try with something more than glue. So now I will use masking tape to reinforce the sides. As I said in the first rant about me getting a referral, I said about Dave showing me a thing my sister's class did for a cabinet of curiosities and their designs for postcards was where I got this idea from. I really like this idea and would love to do this idea in my own way and instead of curiosities have memories that will become curiosities over time to other people.
